I’m no fanboy, but I gotta say: the iPhone 15 Pro is pretty darn slick. I had a blast hammering away at the Northern Lights with it while my trusty Canon equipment was dutifully cranking out time lapse photos. Here’s a dump of my favorites, no captions required.

That’s it! I didn’t go back out Saturday night because I was dead tired from only three hours of sleep Friday night and a long drone photo day. It looked like clouds were moving in and the data seemed to indicate things were waning. I saw Sunday morning that several friends still got some nice shots, so it looks like I missed out…but that’s okay. I needed the rest.

It’s Sunday night as I type this, and it looks like there may be another wave of some sort, although I’m uncertain of its intensity. Hmmm…
