Old MHS Open House, Part Two of Many

I’m glad I got to the school early, because I got to visit many places alone before things got crowded. One of those places is the ol’ gymnasium. I played a bit of dodgeball here, and did a lot of stretches.

Here’s what it looks like from center court. I can’t say I remember what it looked like in the late 1900s.

..and the hooooooooome…of the…BRAVES!

I’m a sucker for a good panorama…how about you?

I ran many a lap around this hallway. We used to do warm-ups here before track practice in the spring. It would be a shame if someone would have left a couple of ketchup packets in the corner one day…I’m guessing it would have made the corner pretty slick!

I can’t decide if I think these hallways seemed longer back them or not. At first I thought they did, but now I’m not so sure. I stood here for a little while pondering that.

I have plenty of friends whose records are still on this wall! None of these records are mine, of course. I wasn’t that fast.

Hey! Want to know something that hasn’t changed since the late 1900s? This ugly thing. Have you ever bought a ticket here? Then you know what I mean, even if that ticket was purchased in the mid-1900s.

This is the back of that ticket booth. I thought you’d like one more shot of the old gym.

I took plenty more photos that day…stay tuned for Part Three!
